Lorde is off to a strong start with her latest album, ‘Solar Power.’

Of that sum, 36,000 are slated to be from pure album sales.

The updated figure of 61,000 is more than the previously estimated 55,000 – 60,000 units that the project was originally set to debut with (as we reported here).

As a result of the updated sales, ‘Solar Power’ is now set for a top 3 debut on the Billboard 200, up from a top 5 debut that was also predicted earlier.

It is worth noting that the project will earn Lorde her third top 3 album on the chart. She previously topped it with 2017’s ‘Melodrama.’ Her debut album – ‘Pure Heroine’ – peaked at #3 in 2013.

‘Solar Power’ was preceded by the title track, ‘Stoned At The Nail Salon,’ and ‘Mood Ring.’
