Moments ago, the 15-time GRAMMY winner announced her new single ‘La La’ featuring Swae Lee.
The track, due September 9, is the first taste of new material from the singer since the release of last year’s ‘Alicia’ album, which was home to Gold-certified hits ‘Underdog’ and ‘Show Me Love.’
It also will be arriving ahead of the rescheduled ‘Alicia World Tour.’ As reported, the trek will now take place in 2022.
Judging by the cover, the feature, and how her last two albums sounded, I can already tell I’m not going to like this.

I’ve seen her in concert twice and I bought every album except Element of Freedom and Girl on Fire. Unfortunately, I have been hugely disappointed for the last 10 years. To be completely honest, I have zero hope in Alicia doing something great again. I have tickets for her 2022 tour and my fingers are crossed that she’ll stick to the better years of her discography.
