Victoria Monét is wasting no time lighting a match under her freshly released single ‘Coastin’
The funky cut serves as the singer-songwriter’s second release of 2021, following ‘F.U.C.K’ – which was unwrapped in February. In the same month, the star welcomed her first child.
Now, after receiving praise aplenty for the bouncy bop, she’s premiered its vibrant music video.
Much like the song, the clip sees Monet continue her embrace of 70s aesthetic to great effect.

Alright….. ghetto superstar… that’s what you are 💅🏿 Go sit yo ass down auntie
Flop ass
The intro was heavily inspired by Bon qui qui. That’s for damn sure but Victoria isn’t funny at all😒😒 this h o e never graduated from outta da hood program 💅🏿
You are a miserable imitation of a human.
I heard Friend You Can Keep on the Spotify Black and Q**** playlist. I knew she just had a baby, so that threw me off.
This is a vibe. Kinda reminds me of Teedra Moses’ “be your girl.”
The lyrics doesn’t fit well with the production style.
Dang why didn’t check this out sooner?? love the feel good rhythm and vibe of the vid. Instant plug on my playlist!!
