New Video: Ne-Yo – ‘What If’

Published: Saturday 25th Sep 2021 by Sam

Ne-Yo is back and looking to blaze with his new single ‘What If.’

Serving as the first of new solo material from the star since last year’s ‘U 2 Luv,’ the track was recorded in London with producers Ebenezer and Magnus Klausen.

In trademark Ne-Yo form, the song is both melodic and destined for the dancefloor.

For its accompanying video, which arrived in tandem with the track, the GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter teamed with Shutterstock – who provided the visual and special effects for the monochrome clip.

Another solid effort from Mr. Smith.

I don’t like it. It’s a filler song. Very boring. He can do much better than this song.

It’s in the same company as “Closer” and “Let Me Love You”, so it’s not really fresh sounding, but it’s also not bad. I think it’s safe to expect another good album.

      Agree.

This & U 2 LUV are good songs. If other songs are of similar quality, his new album will be solid. I do not want Ne-Yo to do trap or anything similar.
