Teyana Taylor Announces Dates of Farewell Tour

Published: Wednesday 22nd Sep 2021 by Rashad

9 months after announcing her intent to retire from the music industry, ‘How You Want It’ singer Teyana Taylor is granting the wish of fans who wanted one last hurrah before she closes this chapter of her career.

Titled ‘The Last Rose Petal’ tour, the North American jaunt – which kicks off November 7 in San Francisco – will see the 30-year-old rock stages in major continental cities like Houston, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, and more before making a final pit stop in Atlanta.

Speaking on the inspiration behind its title, Taylor told fans:

“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard…. However for every goodbye God makes the next hello closer. Come out and watch me, leave it all out on the stage… One last time… Just for you & as my last rose petal falls, I say farewell…”

Look below to see if she’ll be bringing her brigade of fan favorites to a venue near you.

  1. Hi September 23, 2021

Don’t understand why artist rely on award shows to determine how well their creations are. Her album was fantastic if she loves it and her fans why care about anyone else opinion.

Awards are what they work for. It’s like you submitting an essay you worked on all semester. Only to be told it’s not good enough. It’s frustrating.

It goes beyond awards. Music is a business. And her label didn’t get a good return on their investment in her. She just doesn’t connect with a wide audience. She can finance her own projects and push forward. Or just accept the fact that it’s time to move on.
