Here at That Grape Juice, we love all things R&B! So, fittingly, we’ve teamed up with DJ Ace – one of the UK’s most revered R&B connoisseurs and host of BBC 1Xtra‘s weekly series Everything RNB (which airs Sundays at 10pm).

Your boy Ace is back with another #SPOTLIGHT3! As always, I will be putting you on to the hottest new R&B. ‘New Music Friday’ really delivered this week with new drops from the heavyweights in the genre.
Lucky Daye – Over
My guy Lucky Daye released his new track ‘Over.’ He never fails to deliver and, of course, this time is no different. The track is accompanied by very imaginative visuals starring socialite and influencer, Jordyn Woods. I’ll definitely be spinning ‘Over’ on my shows over the next few weeks.

Shakka – Road Trip To Venus (Album)
It’s almost hard to believe that Shakka has been in the game for so long (over a decade in fact), but has only now had the opportunity to release his debut album. The wait was well and truly worth it, and he has not disappointed! ‘Road Trip To Venus’ consists of 19 tracks, including a number of perfectly placed interludes and a couple of special features.
A few tracks that stand out to me are:

- One For The Road
- When You Grow Up

Nao – And Then Life Was Beautiful (Album)
Everyone knows I’ve been waiting for this project from Nao for a while! What better day for her to drop ‘And Then Life Was Beautiful’ other than my birthday? Nao has poured her emotions into the album. The 3 years since the release of ‘Saturn’ have included musical doubts, self-discovery, and motherhood.
A few tracks that have caught my attention are:
- Woman (ft. Lianna La Havas)
- Amazing Grace
- Good Luck (ft. Lucky Daye)
