Pure sales are set to make up more than half of the album’s total sales with 39,000 units. As of reporting, ‘Star-Crossed’ is set to land a top 3 debut on the Billboard 200. Only Drake‘s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ and Kanye West‘s ‘Donda’ will best it in sales.
It is worth noting that the album is on course to be Musgraves’ fourth top 5 effort on the chart. She previously reached the top 5 with her albums ‘Same Trailer Different Park,’ ‘Pageant Material,’ and ‘Golden Hour.’
More importantly, it is set to deliver her best opening sales week to date.

I keep meaning to get into this girl’s discography and see what the fuss is about but I forget. whenever I’m in the mood for country I always go back to Carrie and Kellie but even they have a lot of album fillers in the middle of great singles.
anyway, she seems like a nice person so congrats on all the success
her first 2 albums are more country. golden hour and star-crossed are a lot more pop, though there are country sounds weaved in here and there.
I put this album on Monday at work, and I’ve been playing it ever since.
