The ramifications are beginning to rain down on R. Kelly following his conviction on nine counts of sex trafficking.
For, YouTube has announced that it has permanently terminated two of the singer’s channels on its platform.

The streaming giant has confirmed the immediate closure of both “RKellyTV” and “RKellyVEVO,” stressing that the move is “in accordance with our creator responsibility guidelines”.
Kelly notably was found guilty of racketeering, sexual exploitation of a child, kidnapping, bribery, sex trafficking, and more.
It effectively serves as the blacklisting of the disgraced star’s career video output. Moving forward, Kelly will not be able to create any further channels either.
As for what will remain? Any user-generated videos of the star, as well as his music on the audio-only corner of the platform, YouTube Music.
Kelly is currently awaiting sentencing for this New York trial, which will take place in May 2022. He’s also set to go to trial for further sexual assault allegations in Chicago.
The embattled performer, who has vowed to prove his innocence, faces life in imprisonment for his crimes.

Exactly! People are still listening to his music. I’m just wondering if they’re going to make his entire catalog unavailable for the public, otherwise streaming services are getting paid.
