The former Little Mix member has been pounding the promotional pavement in support of her debut solo single ‘Boyz’ featuring Nicki Minaj.

However, she’s had to scrap an upcoming appearance at Hits Live in Birmingham, England in the wake of her diagnosis.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Nelson wrote:

“Hey, my lovlies.

After feeling unwell for the last few days, I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid…which means I am now self-isolating, following government guidelines. It means I am no longer able to perform at HitsLive in Birmingham this Saturday. Apologies to any of my fans who bought tickets and I am so sorry I can no longer be there. I hope you all have an amazing night, stay safe and I can’t wait to see you all soon.

Love you all so much.”
