The Official Charts Company reports that only ten copies separate Swift’s ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ and Little Mix’s ‘Between Us.’
With a narrow margin, Swift is currently in the lead and is on course to gain her eighth #1 album in that country. If it manages to succeed, it would also be her second #1 of the year and her fourth in less than two years.
As a result, she has the potential to tie Kylie Minogue as the female solo artist with the second-most UK Number 1 albums in chart history. Only megastar Madonna has more with 12.
