Just a year after soaring to the top of R&B charts with her eponymous seventh studio album, ‘Alicia,’ singer-songwriter Alicia Keys is looking to repeat the feat with its follow-up, ‘KEYS.’
The ambitious project – which features appearances from Lil Wayne, Khalid, Swae Lee, Brandi Carlile, and more – comes as a double album with both sets containing different versions of the same songs (a whopping total of 26 songs)

Sorry Alicia but from what we have heard so far this isn’t it. You need to fire your whole team and start a new or work with writers, producers, and creative from your first 3-4 albums. Here I Am was your last solid piece of work.
You have good singles ever now and again since but something just isn’t hitting in the studio and you seem to have “yes men” because these songs have been an absolutely not for me.
I agree 100%!! this is what happens when you get way to comfortable in the music industry, you’re not into making good music anyone. Beyonce is doing that and Janet has been doing that for years and I lost hope she would ever come out with a hot single or Hot CD ever again.
From another perspective, perhaps Beyonce, Janet, and Alicia are happy to create with people they trust and are energized from. Sometimes the creative process is about more than looking for “hits”. Don’t get me wrong, I love to see all three ladies succeed on that front but perhaps true creativity has to be about more than trying to make what’s hot. And at this point, all those ladies have a fan base that will ride with them on their musical journey and all 3 have cemented their place in music history. IJS…On another note, I’m curious to see what Alicia has come up with this time.
Since she broke up with Kerry, her music has been dryyy and I’m not expecting any different here. Call me when Kerry returns
