Fresh from garnering critical acclaim this season for leading an all-star cast aboard VH1’s latest holiday film, ‘Hip Hop Family Christmas,’ as well as a CW holiday special, ‘The Black Pack,’ singer-songwriter Ne-Yo is returning focus to his music with the newly-released single, ‘Stay Down.’
Tapping rising rapper Yung Bleu to assist, the mid-tempo jam – NE-YO’s first traditional musical offering since September’s ‘What If’ – sees the GRAMMY winner lay out limitless loyalty to his lady love.
“Ooh, my last, I’ll split it / Partner in crime, I’m wit it / I’ll tell the judge I did it / Just put something on my books, come visit,” he croons in the first verse of the Mally Mail-produced tune.
Rumored to be one of many gems set to line the tracklist of his long-awaited new studio album (due in 2022), hop inside to hear ‘Down.’
