As reported, Britney has taken aim at her younger sibling for words spoken during the promotional push for her new book, ‘Things I Should Have Said.’
When the ‘Overprotected’ performer claimed her family “ruined” her dreams and questioned Jamie Lynn’s motives, it prompted the 30-year-old to issue a statement of her own.
Now, Britney has spoken out again and this time has expressed frustration with claims about an alleged “knife” incident said to feature in Jamie Lynn’s book.

Hey, as a die hard Britney fan, I will be the first to agree, she doesn’t always seem that she has matured, socially, and sometimes even mentally, but don’t forget she didn’t actually have the chance too. She probably doesn’t even realize how public and out there Instagram is. And 13 years not having access to your life. Don’t compare people and how they deal with situations. We are not all the same. Everyone’s brain and state of mind function differently.
As for the Christina comparison, she did not have Britney’s level of fame, the media never cared for Christina. Christina was NASTY, and there are so many celebrity interviews where they say that, most notably Mary J Blige saying how rude Christina is, and even though she has the bigger voice, Britney is the bigger star, because of her heart and personality. People don’t care for Christina. At all. Neither does the media. Just like no one was talking about her kiss with Madonna. It was the Britney and Madonna kiss. Britney is the bigger celebrity.
But point is, we are not robots, we are individuals, and we all respond differently to situations. I shaved my head out of retaliation when I was a teenager. Before Britney did. That’s why it seemed so normal to me when she did. I was like “she’s going through something.” Now I realize I was going through s***. I’m not sure how her mental state is now, but I’m a bit worried. Are the people around her genuine? Do they care about her well-being l. Is she back on the right path where she can make music again, do interviews etc. it seems she’s locked away hopefully things will get better for her. The media like to bring you up and tear down they did this to her and she couldn’t handle it. Britney needs to have genuine people around her for her safety and well being. Hopefully Sam will take care her.
