Thanks to the ongoing success of the viral #HrsandHrsChallenge, Muni Long’s breakthrough hit ‘Hrs & Hrs’ has become one of the week’s top challengers for entry into the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10 next week.

Just a week after reports surfaced the tune had become her first top 40 hit (as we reported here), the singer-songwriter – previously best known for writing memorable tunes for the likes of Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, and more – has finally done the same for herself as ‘Hrs & Hrs’ is found at #17 on this week’s main Billboard hit list.
The 17-spot jump from last week not only extends the personal milestone as being Long’s biggest hit to date, but it also comes as her first top 20 hit as a performer. What’s more, the ‘Public Displays of Affection’ cut fared even better on the updated Hot R&B Songs chart as its found at a new peak of #2.
