The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has even more good news for SZA‘s 2020 hit, ‘Good Days.’
Just four months after learning the Los Hendrix-produced cut had met the organization’s threshold for Platinum status, meaning it sold the equivalence of 1 million copies in the United States alone, the GRAMMY nominee’s been alerted ‘Days’ has already dashed to a certification upgrade.
More inside:
On January 18, the same day it was reported her latest single ‘I Hate U’ was certified GOLD for selling 500,000 units in the United States, the RIAA took to press to announce the certification stats of ‘Good Days’ had been updated to 3x Platinum. As such, the latter achievement marks the fifth time of the singer’s career her name has been printed on a multi-Platinum plaque.
‘Days’ joins the previously certified ‘Broken Clocks’ (3x Platinum), ‘The Weekend’ (4x Platinum), ‘Love Galore’ (5x Platinum), and the Kendrick Lamar duet, ‘All the Stars’ (2x Platinum).
Together, those tunes, alongside her other RIAA-recognized hits, bring her cumulative certified digital sales total to 24 million in the U.S (as of time reported).
As a performer, she is also attached to the 2x Platinum Maroon 5 hit, ‘What Lovers Do,’ as a feature, but it should be noted the only songs that apply to an artist’s cumulative count at the RIAA are those that credit him, her, or them as a leading act.
Monica WISHES💯
What’s with this newfound Monica obsession? Her name is mentioned here more than anywhere else!!! She doesn’t have anything to do with SZA.
its Monigga to you respect it then cream pie me
It’s been 4 years since Ctrl. It’s pointless keep putting out songs but a new album💅🏾
Her label are such assholes she wants the been wanted the album out but they keep stalling on releasing it. She can’t unfortunately control the rollout despite well reception on all singles. It’s like wtf are they waiting for 😒…..Smh aside from her I’m sure Kendrick Lamar can’t wait to leave they ass too after this last album “obligation “ to contract.
Good days is such an underrated masterpiece, it hurts me…
