Adele continues to dominate the New Year.
Case in point, she has added another plaque to her ever-growing collection.
More details below…
Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA) announced that Adele’s ‘Oh My God’ has now been certified Gold for the sales equivalent of 500,000 units in the United States.
In doing so, the song has reached a major milestone. It has now become the second single from her ’30’ album to be certified Gold or higher. Previously, ‘Easy On Me’ earned a 2x Platinum certification (as we reported here).
‘Oh My God’ was a chart success for Adele. It peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her second top 5 effort from the album and reached the top 5 in numerous other countries, such as the United Kingdom.
Needless to say, a huge congratulations is in order.
