The original version of this track was one of my #SPOTLIGHT3 picks a few weeks back. I’ve been spinning it on my shows on 1Xtra and I hear it’s been ringing off in the streets! La Shana Latrice tapped the legendary Idris Elba for ‘The Record Box Remix.’ Let me know what you think!

Mahalia – Letter To Ur Ex
Mahalia gets personal on this one. She pens a letter to her partners’ ex-girlfriend, essentially asking her to let go and move on. The songbird admitted this track was based on a real-life scenario she had recently. Go check the visuals which also dropped this week!

Amaria BB – W.M.O.N
Amaria BB perfectly fuses her love for Dancehall with R&B, and this match made in heaven continues on her debut EP ‘What’s Done In The Dark.’ It’s hard to pick one particular standout track with ‘Secrets’ and ‘Take It’ grabbing my attention, but ‘W.M.O.N’ may take the lead, despite being less than 2 minutes long!
