Beyonce made her grand return to the stage tonight at the Oscars 2022.
The megastar delivered a powerful performance of ‘Be Alive’ from ‘King Richard,’ which is nominated for Best Original Song at the 94th annual ceremony.
Serving as the diva’s first Academy Award nomination, she’d serve as the first Black woman to win if she were to take home the trophy.
Paying homage to the film and its central inspirations (Richard Williams and daughters Venus & Serena), Queen Bey’s stellar performance took place live from the tennis court The Williams’ started their journey in Compton, California.

Performance was ok. It was just Too extra for the song. It would have been more effective if she was solo on stage with the band if you ask me.

Regarding the song, I thought it was a let down. Vocally there’s no actual performance, it falls flat.
