Moments ago, organizers for the ceremony confirmed that nominees Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak will be launching the celebration, which will be broadcasting live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The dynamic duo, who are currently rocking Sin City with their sold-out residency, are up for four awards – Record and Song of the Year (for ‘Leave The Door Open’), Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance (also for ‘Leave The Door Open’).
Their critically acclaimed album, ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic,’ was released after the voting cut-off window and thus will be eligible for nominations at next year’s ceremony.
Bruno and Anderson join previously announced performers such as Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, Olivia Rodrigo, H.E.R, Nas, BTS, and Cynthia Erivo.
The GRAMMYs 2022 airs Sunday, April 3, 2022, at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS. The show will be available to stream live and on-demand via Paramount+.
