The megastar has onboarded buzzing beverage brand Lemon Perfect as a key investor.
With a financial commitment from the multihyphenate force, the Atlanta-based lemon water company sees its total funding hit $42.2 million and its total valuation soar north of $100 million – less than three years after selling its first bottle.
Made with organic lemons, Lemon Perfect is billed as a super-refreshing, great-tasting, and hydrating flavored lemon water with zero sugar and no artificial flavors or sweeteners.
Speaking on her investment, Bey said in a statement:
“I don’t typically enjoy drinks without added sugar, but Lemon Perfect is delicious. It was an easy decision to invest in something that not only tastes great and is healthy, but also, and most importantly, allows choosing a healthier lifestyle to be affordable and accessible to everyone.”
The company’s Founder and CEO Yanni Hufnagel added:
“We are honored and humbled that Beyoncé has become a part of the Lemon Perfect family. She is a worldwide icon whose talent, character, and positivity are unsurpassed. Her investment and the energy it sparks will accelerate Lemon Perfect’s rise toward its goal of becoming the number one brand in the multibillion-dollar enhanced water category by market share.”
Renowned for bold business moves, recent years have seen Beyonce blaze a trail with her adidas x IVY PARK athleisure line and savvy partnerships with the likes of Peloton.
Of course it’s not something she created herself
I mean she can’t even make lemonade on her own dayum.
I wont be buying that brand anymore. Her character is shady abd she promotes demontime and marina abromovitch
