Katy Perry is on the cusp of a comeback, according to a new report.
Full story below…
The Pop star’s 2020 album ‘Smile’ didn’t bloom on the charts and instead has seen the 37-year-old go back to the drawing-board while juggling her Las Vegas residency ‘Play’ and judging duties on ‘American Idol.’
Per The Sun, she’s ready to debut the new “Dance-Pop” bops she’s been baking in the lab.
Citing a source close to developments, the report shared that Perry’s new single is set for a May release:
“Katy has been flat out. Not only is she back on American Idol and doing her Vegas show but she’s constantly been in the studio recording.
Her sixth album is almost ready to go and the lead single has wowed label bosses. It’s very much a return to her dance-pop, Teenage Dream days. The plan is for the lead single to be out by the end of next month.”
LMFAO! Katherine, just release a greatest hits. It’s over for you, hun.
Well she has never stepped out of Pop in the first place… Never Really Over for example. It wasn’t a flop, but by her standards, it didn’t perform well.
I know that she said this was going to be her year, but I still hope she’s going to do a new single while collaborating with more than one artist, probably one singer and a DJ. Better yet, a singer and a rapper or two singers. What do you guys think.
