Despite the sometimes negative comparisons, Bailey – as she’s putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming solo debut album – recently made headlines for confirming she’s eyeing a collaboration with the former Fifth Harmony star.

Normani, hot on the promo trail for her latest single ‘Fair’ as well as a new brand partnership with Cracker Jill, visited our friends at BET.com to wax honest about her forthcoming solo debut album.
When not dishing on the sonic and content direction of the yet-titled LP, the songstress waxed honest about her own collaboration wishlist – which apparently includes a certain Chloe Bailey.
“Aww, I would love that. She’s so incredibly talented and it’s not every day that Black women who are built like us, look like us, and have a complexion like ours collaborate together,” Normani said in response to news that Chloe wants to duet. “They often put women against each other but there’s so much room for everyone else. I think it would be powerful, the looks would be giving, and the vocals would be giving.”
Chloe isn’t the only big name the ‘Wild Side’ diva is looking to land for her project.
“I would love to collaborate with Lil Nas X, that’s my boo. That would go off and it would only be right for the culture. It doesn’t make sense if we didn’t do anything,” she revealed on her expanded collaboration dream list. “Doja Cat I’m a fan of and she’s an incredible talent. And of course, Rihanna and Beyoncé.”
