Bad Bunny has leaped straight in at #1 on the Billboard 200 with ‘Un Verano Sin Ti.’
Full story below…
The LP launches with sales of 274,000 equivalent units, earning Bad Bunny his highest opening week to date.
Furthermore, the project serves as only the second all-Spanish album to hit #1 in the history of the Billboard 200; the first was Bad Bunny’s preceding, 2020’s ‘El Último Tour del Mundo.’
Elsewhere, Jack Harlow was denied the #2 spot after Future’s ‘I Never Liked You’ posted another strong sales week.
Still, the Louisville native’s ‘Come Home The Kids Miss You’ opened commendably at #3 with 113,000 equivalent units.
Streaming served as Harlow’s key driver. For 103,000 of the total sum was accrued via 137.05 million on-demand official streams of the album’s songs.
With the ‘First Class’ led LP, the 24-year-old doubled the 51k opening of his 2020 debut album, ‘Thats What They All Say.’
Good. I’m glad Jack the 🪴 didn’t get #1. No room for culture vultures!
B I t c h, I thought you said you ain’t coming to this nasty c u m dump site anymore…. Liar! 💅🏾
Yet you’re using all inventions created by the white man to post this comment lmaoooooooooo! 🤣
Since Jack is involved in Hip-Hop Culture, will he he use his platform to speak on issues affecting Black Americans?? Even DaBaby made a song about BLM during a time of racial Intolerance.
Why is it an issue when someone bring this up especially since some of the highest payed Black artists have spoken on racial issues…whether music OR during a time of racial intolerance.
Why should he?
Because once you reach a certain status, ur expected to use ur platform & speak on racial issues…
Says who? Those “racial issues” you speak of also don’t exist…
Hip-Hop Culture is a voice for social issues w/ the MOST respected rappers being those embracing traditions hence why East/West coast rappers are the “standard”.
No way Jose… Jack’s totally deserved #1 spot💅🏾
#3 ain’t first class 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱 guess that payola ran out
113k first week is pretty first class to me, hunnie! Go hate elsewhere, sucka!
Thanks to Drake. His appearance on the album made the public pay more attention to his music.
