Camila Cabello keeps the flow of ‘Familia’ live offerings coming.
And the latest sees the Pop starlet team with VEVO for a special series of performances of songs from the newly released LP.
Designed to deliver more than standard-fare showings, the 25-year-old worked closely with the digital giant to cultivate a set that facilitated movement, joy, and liberation.
On working with Cabello, JP Evangelista, VEVO’s SVP of Content, Programming & Marketing said:
“Having the ability to build this futuristic world with an artist of Camila’s caliber was such a privilege. She’s always putting in efforts to do different live performances, she doesn’t repeat herself. Even vocally she changes it up here and there.
She’s no Ariana vocally speaking but she handles her own, performs live, dances… she’s good !
And she’s one of the few who incorporates a lot of live instruments in many songs.
Look at all the Latin mainstream/Pop artists… they all sound the same with their reggaeton beats… Maluma, JLo, etc.
JLo was on a good track musically a few years back with some Spanish songs she released like Ni Tu, Ni Yo, too bad she cancelled the album.
Look at Shakira being half Lebanese, she could be so much more original sonically speaking. The only song I recall mixing different sounds was Ojos Asi.
