Kenya Moore on Marlo Hampton: “I’m An Icon, She’s An Ex-Con!”

Published: Thursday 19th May 2022 by Sam

Kenya Moore has long been established as the resident shade assassin on the Real Housewives of Atlanta and she’s living up to said billing outside of ATL too.

The former Miss USA guested on the latest episode of the Wendy Williams Show to plug season 14 and, as ever, did not hold back.

Full story below…

Chopping it with former foe Michael Rappaport, the 51-year-old was asked what she thought of Marlo Hampton‘s claim that she was jealous of her finally getting a coveted peach.

Responding, Moore said:

“Jealous? I’m an icon, she’s an ex-con. Why would I be jealous?”

The mom of one went on to share her thoughts on departed Housewives Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, and Phaedra Parks – the latter of whom she said she’d gladly go on a road trip with.

And still y’all ended up on the same show. Now what does that say about you Skinya? You haven’t been relevant in 30 years

Incorrect. Same show, different levels. Kenya has been a peach holder for how long? 10 years? She’s making at least $1m per season. Meanwhile Marlo was a friend of forever attaching herself to whomever to remain semi relevant. Even now she accepted Bravos scraps since they were struggling to find cast mates. MarHOË is truly a lessor.

Kenya is so full of herself. She just isn’t a nice person. I don’t consider her an icon she is just full of herself. She can’t hold a relationship or long term friendships which says a lot. The housewives shows have lost sight of what the viewers fell in love with in the beginning. A little shade, some fighting but mainly them going out, drinking and having fun. Not ganging up on one cast member over a rumour or information that has no proof. To use it as a storyline and constantly bring it up during group settings or outings to keep the fights and rumours alive so you can remain relevant is not what people want to watch, especially when other family members and kids who are innocent are dragged into it and hurt. Then when it happens to Kenya we are all supposed to be on her side.
