Ella Mai has released her sophomore album ‘Heart On My Sleeve’ and the British-born songbird is taking flight on the promotional trail.
The Breakfast Club was her latest stop and there she chopped it up with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy.
Both relaxed and candid, the sit-down saw the 27-year-old open up about the growth between her first and second projects, recording 80 songs for ‘Heart,’ being vulnerable, and the pressure (or lack thereof) to create another ‘Boo’d Up.’
Watch the insightful interview after the jump…
A really engaging convo. Awesome interview.
The album 🗑
She’s a flop
“Normani”
The jokes write themselves….
Ugly flop 💅🏾
Bye Normonkey lmaooooooooooooo 💋
Why do I think the album should have been called Ellavating? Cuz she did that.
Appreciated The Breakfast Club conversation. Passionate, meaningful music on both of Ella’s albums. Envy in some of these comments?
