Breaking: Beyonce Announces New Album ‘Renaissance’

Published: Thursday 16th Jun 2022 by Sam

In breaking news, Beyonce has announced her hotly anticipated new album ‘Renaissance.’

Full story below…

The reveal was trumpeted by Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal on Twitter moments ago with confirmation that ‘Renaissance (Act 1)’ (which is 16 tracks) will be arriving July 29.

‘Renaissance,’ which serves as Queen Bey’s first solo album since 2016’s ‘Lemonade,’ was initially hinted at when the megastar removed her profile picture on all of her social media pages.

The move ignited ample excitement amongst fans, who looked for clues any and everywhere.

Now, the B7 buzz has been confirmed.

And it appears the Queen is going all out.

For, it’s been revealed, via her official web store, that ‘Renaissance (Act 1)’ will come in four different box sets – each featuring different ‘poses’ (covers) and includes a T-shirt, CD, 28-page booklet, and mini-poster. Keeping the surprises going, the artwork for all will be revealed at a later date – although pre-ordering is available now.

Furthermore, the pre-save page on Apple Music indicates that ‘Renaissance (Act 1)’ will be comprised of 16-tracks:

It’s increasingly looking like the double album concept may indeed be what’s incoming.

Whatever the case, it’s clear Beyonce has been hard at work on ‘Renaissance’ for some time.

Speaking with Harper’s Bazaar last year, she said:

“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible.

I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies.

Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”

And now it’s time!

We’re all sorts of buzzed for the return of Queen Bey! Are you? As ever, let us know…
