New updates have arrived in the divorce case of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Mainly, West will be on the hunt for a new lawyer.

According to a new report, Samantha Spector has now stepped down as his representation.

While there have not been many details given as to why she decided to step aside, a statement from her filing reads that there has been “an irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship.”

As for who will handle West’s case in the meantime, that honor goes to an out-of-state attorney from Pennsylvania that does not specialize in divorce.

Previously Spector was hired by Dr. Dre‘s ex-wife, Nicole Young, who was granted a $100 million settlement from the rap mogul.

Spector is the ‘Mercy’ rapper’s fourth lawyer to step down since Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021.
