The duo composed of Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars, has chosen ‘After Last Night’ as their fourth R&B radio single. The song is produced by Mars, D’Mile, and The Stereotypes.
What’s more, it impacted radio last week and earned the most added title, pulling in 25 adds.
Previously, three other songs have been serviced to R&B radio from the project. The first being the Billboard Hot 100 #1 song, ‘Leave the Door Open.’
The follow-up, ‘Skate,’ reached the top five on the radio format, while ‘Smokin’ Out the Window’ topped the chart, becoming their second #1 there.
Most recently, Silk Sonic scored their third chart-topper on R&B radio with a cover of Funk Shun’s ‘Love’s Train.’
All songs mentioned appeared on Silk Sonic’s ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic’ album, which debuted and peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart, only behind Taylor Swift‘s ‘Red (Taylor’s Version).’

It’s clear it’s a bunch of kids commenting on here. So I’m here to give me ADULT response on a subject that I KNOW what I’m talking about. Silk Sonic is paying homage to the 70’s. Groups of those days used showmanship,.by being comical, and/or dramatic, while delivering showstopping choreography and finesse vocals. Bruno Mars being retro since the beginning reimagined themselves as a 70’s group when they came up with these songs during quarantine. They kept coming up with more songs and decided to form a group and make an album. They just wanted a way to give the fans a memorable timeless album and experience. They never intended to perform their songs due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. But they see that MAJORITY LOVE what they are doing and have now provided your, merch, and performances. So what they’re doing is patische NOT A PARODY. AND THEY ARE RESPECTED AND LOVED BY ALL ORIGINATORS OF THE GENRE. THE MORE YOU KNOW KIDS.
What you people don’t understand is the history of soul music especially from the 1960s and 1970s. If you grew up with the original music that inspired Silk Sonic, you’d have a better idea of why this is so brilliant.
