‘My Neck, My Back’ hitmaker Khia is back in the bad graces of Beyonce fans (affectionately called the #Beyhive) after she unceremoniously roasted the music megastar’s latest album, ‘Renaissance.’
Already shrouded in controversy due to slams from singer Kelis for an allegedly unapproved sample as well as disability advocates for the inclusion of lyrics deemed offensive (as we reported here), the LP has landed on the radar of the polarizing rapper-turned-Web-personality who’s branded it as ‘devil-worshipping music.’
The 45-year-old’s review didn’t sit well with the #Beyhive – many of whom have swarmed her social media platforms in defense of their Queen.
Look inside to see what she said that has them in a tizzy.
Live from her trusty bookshelf (as seen in the video above), Khia hurled accusations of devil-worshipping and witchcraft toward the ‘Renaissance’ creator.
“[She’s] trying to put a spell on everybody in the world, including the children, with this tired ass album.” she said before adding, “All them writers, features, and collaborations that you had – over 100 – and all you could come up with was the devil’s music?”
When not referring to the critically acclaimed album as “demonic,” she weighed in on the Kelis’ claims that Bey used interpolations of her songs ‘Milkshake’ and ‘Get Along with You’ without permission.
“Ole evil Creole hoe has stolen from everybody,” she said. “Kelis was spotted in these streets hot and heated after learning she was sampled on the album without her permission because she don’t own sh*t because they stole from her too. We, the people ain’t a bit shocked or surprised about that either. BE-HO-CE been a liar and a thief with no true talent of her own.”
Needless to say, the review didn’t sit well with quite a few in Bey’s fan base. Look below to see some of their responses to Khia’s commentary.
