According to Billboard, the ‘Break My Soul’-led set has already sold 275,000 copies in just four days (July 29 through August 1).
Of that sum, 175,000 are confirmed to be pure sales – re-affirming the strong performance of traditional formats (such as CDs and boxsets) from Bey’s official webstore.
Furthermore, the stage blazer has sold over 25,000 vinyl copies – the highest sum of any of Bey’s albums to date. Again, within four days.
As reported, ‘Renaissance’ is on track to become the first female album to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. Should it achieve the feat, it’ll do so with one of the biggest sums of the year so far.
