The end of Ne-Yo‘s marriage to Crystal Smith is proving explosive.
For, not only has his wife of six years formally filed for divorce – she’s claiming he fathered a child out of wedlock.

As reported, Crystal took to social media to announce her split from the star – in the process alleging that the crooner had been sleeping with “numerous women unprotected.”
At the time, Ne-Yo called for privacy and respect from the public.
However, the GRAMMY winner is unlikely to receive either in the wake of Crystal’s newest assertations.
According to TMZ, the model/actress filed papers that list July 22, 2022 as the date of their separation. The cause for the split is “irreconcilable differences.”
Most damning, though, is her claim that the performer recently impregnated another woman.
The development is especially shocking given that, after a rocky period, the pair reunited and renewed their wedding vows in April this year.
Ne-Yo has three children with Crystal, who is lobbying for primary physical custody and joint legal custody. She is also requesting child support and alimony.
The performer was previously engaged to Monyetta Shaw, who told the NY Post that the artist (who she has two childten with) broke things off by telling her: “I don’t want to be monogamous anymore.” This, shortly after she underwent a sterilization procedure that she claims was mutually agreed-upon with the star.
He then began dating Crystal months later.
