And, after looking at the height the LP fell from, its title ‘HOLY FVCK’ appears to be oh so apt.

Lovato – who recently announced a re-embrace of female gender pronouns – initially made history with the project when its debut made her one of few female artists to score a top 10 placement over three separate decades. The feat also saw her become of the only artists to see their first 8 studio albums premiere in the top 10 of the tally.
However, the ‘Skin of My Teeth’ led project has taken an almighty tumble on the coveted count.
For, ‘Holy Fvck’ – which launched at #7 – drops a shocking 133 spots to #120 in its second week – registering one of the biggest falls in the 55-year history of the Billboard 200.
The album also has the unfortunate status of being Lovato’s first to not yield a Top 50 single on the Billboard Hot 100. To date, the LP’s only charting song is ’29’ – which peaked at #96.

Demi’s problem is that with each album she completely abandons and alienates whatever fans she has left or whatever fans became a fan because of that album. She isn’t ever “reinventing” herself because each new album she completely talks s*** about the last and the ones before it. Hateful of the direction, angry at her management, embarrassed by the songs, it’d ALWAYS something with her.
So how are we the public supposed to believe in her authenticity? The difference between her and Madonna was that Madonna changed and evolved with each album, it was still “her.” Just a new version of herself from the last and she acknowledges and has passion for all of her previous work. Demi literally has no idea WHAT or WHO she is as an artist and with 7 or so albums in, it’s a little too late.

Sad to say but you literally said it in a nutshell. I mean this is literally the problem. I became a fan on “Sorry Not Sorry” because that’s more of an R&B sound. I knew who she was but never got into her music til that album and she’s had nothing like it since. She bouncing from genres chasing hits to see what sticks instead of becoming all of what she puts out and building on it. Everything you said so true!!! And as a Christian I definitely wasn’t going for anything this album is putting out. Very much demonic energy!!!

Demi Lovato, the froyo queen of LA, also had a massive drop with the “dancing with the devil” album… I think all of Demi’s ploys for attention (California sobriety, non-binary identity, UFO and ghost hunting) are severely affecting Demi’s career. Sick people do sick things. Seek help.

The fact that its a rock album and made it in to top 10 in todays day and age where rock is never in the top 10 is an amazing feat in and of itself.
