Doja Cat has new music in the works and now she is sharing the inspiration behind the project.

In a new interview with CR Fashion Book, she opened up about the direction her next album is going in, saying:
“I’m very into this ’90s German rave kind of vibe right now and it’s really fun.”
“I know that’s kind of the trend at the moment but I loved that stuff as a kid and now that I can express it (obviously, I couldn’t buzz my head and wear a furry bra and have a belly button piercing back then), I’m sort of embracing that. That’s kind of a hint to the album. Rave culture, not house.”
The news of a new album and its sound comes after she released her ‘Planet Her’ album last year. The project was a huge success for her and scored the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits: ‘Kiss Me More,’ ‘Need to Know,’ and ‘Woman.’
There is currently not a release date for Doja’s next album as of now.
