Tamar Braxton is getting candid about her new music journey.
Full story below…
The songbird took to social media to celebrate the 9th anniversary of her breakthrough album, ‘Love & War’ – which is home to hits such as its title track, ‘The One,’ and ‘All The Way Home.’
In reflecting on the impact of the 2013 project, she opened up about the creation of fresh material. A journey she says has hit a number of hurdles. One of the most notable being that her finished record “vanished into thin air.”
See what she had to say:
“9 years later…. WOW!!! So many memories!!! Thank y’all so much for this incredible ride. Every since I was 5 years old I’ve wanted to sing. It was my peace. My outlet. My identity. I feel like Every since #loveandwar was released, I was able to understand why this fire burned inside of me so deep. It was because of all of you. Healing together, singing together and identifying with every single song together… that made us all #tamartians.
Trust me putting out new music hasn’t been easy for me- although an ENTIRE project was ready and then vanished into thin air 👀 I want you all to be just a little bit more patient while I start over, put my heart and soul into my new found feelings, finally feeling free enough to sing about the old ones and create new, better, memories with you all! Until then, catch me in your city (tomorrow in Detroit with Fantasia and malimusic) and in October on tour with Monica and Tevin Campbell .. I’m counting on your inspiration to make this next album magic All over again✨ I love y’all and I’m so grateful 💙✨”

I thought that was the name of her new album, “Vanished Into Thin Air.”
How can an entire project just disappear? I need a new Tamar record!
Record label could say no (RCA), she was working on a Gospel album and an R&B album. She even worked with Karen Clark Sheard son, J Drew and Johnathan McReynolds. It could’ve been a producer selling songs because she didn’t put it out or simply taking it. It could be Tamar shelving the album herself or label issues. Leaving or being dropped. It could be a number of reason, it’s normal for albums to not release after completion.
My only gripe is that Tamar NEEDS to be on a MAJOR LABEL❗️Even with the help of Darkchild, Lashawn Daniels and Vincent Herbert, her independent album was a mess. She needs top of the line production and good promo. That’s not something RCA is big on putting out anyway.
so is she on RCA or indie? I’m confused.
I thought this b**** retired 😒😒😒😒😒😒
All the way home is such an amazing record 💓
I swear this site does not do anything but copy Rated R&B.
Love you Tamar!! Can’t wait to hear your new c.d.
May the Lord our God continue to bless you & keep you safe, with healthy relationships as you score…in the matchless name of Jesus-amen 🙏🏽
No thanks, Tamar!
So long, Tamar
