Kelly Rowland Elaborates on Supporting Chris Brown at AMAs: ‘We All Need to Be Forgiven’

Published: Wednesday 23rd Nov 2022 by Ryan

Kelly Rowland has officially doubled down on her support of Chris Brown.

For, she is now encouraging those to give him “grace” and “forgiveness.”

Full story below…

Speaking candidly with TMZ, she said of the situation:

“I believe that grace is very real, and we all need a dose of it.”

“Before we point fingers at anybody, we should realize how grateful we are for every moment that we get, even for our own [problems] that we have.”

“I just think it’s important to remember to be human. We are humans. We all need to be forgiven for anything that we could be doing, anything that we’re thinking. We all come up short in some sort of way. And grace is real, and we’re all humans. And everybody deserves grace. Period.”

The former Destiny’s Child member words come shortly after she shushed audience members of the American Music Awards after Brown won Favorite Male R&B Artist at the show (as we reported here).

In the past, Brown has been accused of assaulting Rihanna in 2009 as well as incidents with other women that include stalking and harassment.

Yup Kelly F the h** a$$ people… me personally I’ve never supported his abuse to Rihanna but as we all know it was proven that she kept hitting him first.. which don’t make it to much better but I always say that anybody can say what they want just don’t put your hand on anybody.. Chris had music come out every year since 2005 and his flowers are over due..

P.s the other females that said abuse was proven to be lies sooo leave him alone

    • Jessica November 23, 2022

Very well said.. I said some of the same things on Twitter.. this world I tell you.. it all depends on who you are it’s crazy

    • Paulo November 23, 2022

See this is the problem with this grace Kelly speaks of… yall dumb asses equate forgiveness and erasure. Whether a man that served his time for his offenses ought to be continously persecuted is debatable, but what we’re not doing is denying what he did and the fact he likes putting hands on his women and that he chose violence several times.

    • Fancy BISH (Back To The Future 🤣)👊🏻💎💋 November 24, 2022

      Perfectly said.

Chris is a violent person period and this is what people don’t get. I find it so irritating when people act like his DV case with Rihanna was a one-off isolated incident. This summary doesn’t even include him abusing Karrueche and his physical fight with Frank Ocean.

    • Josh November 23, 2022

Just shut up. Immediately. Because you sound super stupid!

      • Kendrick Slaymar November 23, 2022

        Shayla Shayla Shayla!!!! Lolololzz

  4. Kendrick Slaymar November 23, 2022

Kelly, we aren’t obligated to give known serial domestic abusers and documented colorists a “pass”. Abusing and stalking a girlfriend/ex isn’t just some little oopsie that we all do, TF?! That’s not some “everybody makes mistakes” s***! And I don’t care who forgave who or whatever, that’s stupid logic too. If someone’s family member got severely injured by someone who has been arrested for assault multiple times and the family “forgives” the person who maimed them does that mean oh its all good now? Does it mean they’re not violent anymore and nobody should feel any type of way about their clear pattern of horrible behavior?

    • TongueF’cukk November 23, 2022

Dont act like you’re all perfect and s***. You mean you’ve never been forgiven for any wrong doing in your life??

  5. Kendrick Slaymar November 23, 2022

Perhaps this is why Kelly’s career didn’t go further. She aligns herself with the wrong ppl. She did a feat. w/ R. Kelly on his last album too. SMH! Sad thing is Chris has not/would not stand up for black women the way so many do for him.

    • I DONT CARE November 23, 2022

Do you have a CAREER? I doubt, because you are here more than anyone.

      • Kendrick Slaymar November 23, 2022

I don’t sit on here all day and fight on every story like you fàgs. That’s a lie and the receipts. Go play with your kids, welfare queen.

      • 👀👀 November 23, 2022

Shayla girl. Go away for good.

    • Fleur November 23, 2022

Yes, the global audience has eyes and ears. Then, V/Bloggers have the nerve to envy her Fellow DC members’ exact career positions for Kelly without the care, consistency, dedication, and purpose.

  6. Lucille November 23, 2022

Kelly really standing 10 toes on this issue lol. We get it sis. You support CB. Everyone deserves grace. OK. I hope he gives you a collab after all this campaigning.

    • Josh November 23, 2022

      You sound super stupid too!SMH

    • Fleur November 23, 2022

Kelly Rowland is so vocal about men like Chris Brown, R Kelly, and 50 Cent receiving grace. Was she ever as vocal against these men abuses against Black women and children? Did she ever publicly call out 50 cent after his nasty attack at her sister’s plus Lil Kim’s daughter? If you let the Rolldogs tell you about Kelly Rowland’s career heights, colorism is the cause of it all. She’ll gladly allow these men public use of her platform as long as they throw her a bone in the form of music, concert, or acting gigs as if she’s starving.

      • Nenelornes November 23, 2022

Dont go starting BS. She didn’t say s*** about RKelly. Yal are idiots

  7. Clarks0o00ñ November 23, 2022

Ciara and Jordan sparks just said the same as kelly.. people grow and I have a step brother that has changed and I feel if he can do it anybody can.. and has been for 16 years now.. move forward and stop thinking about the past .. it’s was so long ago.. and for the person taking about her career sounds dumb.. Kelly career as been amazing.. google love.. she has been the only person out of a group that wasn’t first lead the achieve the success that she has and still going.. everybody doing want the status that Beyonce has and she been made that very clear. Kelly was the first group member to win a Grammy dumb dumb.. r Kelly has nothing to do with Chris

    • Kendrick Slaymar November 23, 2022

      R. Kelly and Chris are two problematic men that she aligns herself with. Chris wouldn’t even do a song with the dumb bítch. He’s known for kicking out dark skinned girls here. He don’t want you bítch.

Kelly is a flop with back to back flop albums. She’s still on opening act status. She been clinging to Bey for relevancy all her life

      • TongueF’cukk November 23, 2022

Kendrick you a nobody, broke ass f*** and a hypocrite for calling out chris yet you here throwing disparaging remarks about a woman and calling her dumb

      • 👀👀 November 23, 2022

        Kendrick is Shayla of course!

  9. Forever Breezy!!! November 23, 2022

Chris the closest thing we have to MJ. He’s a legend icon and the moment. The way he’s been mistreated is sad. One thing about it y’all gonna miss him when he’s gone. He’s the king😭😭😭😭

  10. TongueF’cukk November 23, 2022

Looks like people are hurt more than the person he assaulted years ago. Just move on since we already forgave him (the navy) for the assault, damn just let it go. Some of ya’ll have done and still doing worse s*** to women and other people just that he’s under the spotlight. Learn to forgive

  11. ♠️ November 23, 2022

    Well said Kelly Rowland

  12. True Tea November 23, 2022

Hollyweird is full of immoral celebrities who participates in ALL forms of debauchery. If you think R. Kelly is the only p*** in Hollyweird, you’re clearly NOT paying enough attention toward the victims.

And guess what…you are part of the problem also. Kelly Rowland isn’t condoning Chris Brown’s behavior. Chris should receive a second chance if we’re granting everyone else second chances. That’s what Kelly is stating and she is correct.

Many ppl are showing the world how BIASED they are toward certain individuals whereas Kelly is promoting equality. That’s the message ppl are overlooking. And yes her message also applies to Chris Brown and ALL the men accused of colorism.

That’s the very reason they’re receiving BAD KARMA now. Kelly Rowland doesn’t view herself as a victim because she’s blessed and highly favored. If anything…she feel sorry for the sad state most of these men are currently in.
