Mariah Carey has officially declared the season of Christmas is upon us.
As such, her iconic song ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ is expected to make major moves on the UK charts this week.

Taking to press, the Official Charts Company announced its early standings for this week’s chart positions. On it, Carey’s seasonal tune is expected to vault into the top 10 at #8.
The song is expected to rise 10 spots from its most recent standing of #18.
Among all Christmas tunes, it leads the race into the chart’s top 10. However, Wham!‘s ‘Last Christmas’ is close behind at #10.
Both songs topped the chart in recent years and have become staples since each of their respective releases.
While nothing is set in stone, the official chart update will be posted Friday, Carey could have another big year.
