The daughter of Elvis Presley suffered a cardiac arrest today (January 12) and, after being placed in a medically-induced coma, the star passed away.
She was just 54.
EMTs were able to briefly resuscitate the star and promptly transported her to the hospital.
However, despite the medical team’s best efforts, such was the severity of the cardiac event that Lisa Marie died shortly after.

As the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie was born into the spotlight.
Over the course of her life, that spotlight was intensified by way of high-profile marriages to the likes of Michael Jackson and Nicholas Cage as well as the launch of her own music career.
A mother of four, Lisa Marie is survived by three children following the suicide of her son Benjamin Keough in 2020.
