The second song on SZA’s triumphant sophomore album, ‘SOS,’ ‘Kill Bill’ borrows its name from the Quentin Tarantino movie. Mirroring themes of the movie, the song sees SZA contemplate killing her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend out of jealousy.
Despite the track’s darker themes, the song is now on cause to land SZA her first solo UK top 10 hit. On this week’s chart update, ‘Kill Bill’ is set to rise 30 places and reach a new peak of #2.
SZA previously scored two top 10 hits on the UK chart with ‘All The Stars’ and ‘Kiss Me More.’ However, those were both collaborations as she teamed up with Kendrick Lamar and Doja Cat respectively.
While nothing is set in stone as of now, ‘Kill Bill’s exact chart position will be revealed on Friday.
