Ariana Grande may be on a musical hiatus of sorts, but that doesn’t stop her momentary musical endeavors from sending her fans into a flutter of excitement.
Such was the case moments ago when the songbird hatched the news that she’s teaming with frequent collaborator The Weeknd on a remix of his hit ‘Die For You.’
As reported, the original track is housed on Abel’s 2016 album ‘Starboy’ and received revived popularity after going viral on TikTok.
With ‘Die’ recently achieving a peak of #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the US Radio Songs chart this month (six years after its initial release), it looks like higher heights may be on the horizon thanks to the incoming Ari-assisted remix.
Check out the preview below…
Posting the clip to TikTok, Grande captioned:
“wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14-hour day on set. this certain exception had to be made.”

Grande and The Weeknd have a long history of collaborations – including ‘Save Your Tears,’ ‘Love Me Harder,’ and ‘Off The Table.’
What a great surprise to watch Ariana doing the mix of the sound herself on the computer, she’s not just singing.
That’s right, she’s up in there making BOPS…unlike Bruno lol 😂
Do it Ariana and Abel, cause Bruno Thee Midget AIN’T DOING IT lmaooooooooo 🤣☕️🤳🏽💋
I thought Ariana was no longer singing! Her Instagram account is no longer that active, nor can you hear about her on TV or radio. What a surprise!
