Despite DDG‘s denial of turmoil in his relationship with GRAMMY-nominated singer-actress Halle Bailey, the rapper continues to experience backlash for the report.
Earlier this week Halle’s sister, Sky Bailey, took to Instagram Live to slam the emcee (born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) after a cryptic, now-deleted tweet he posted suggested his romance with the ‘Little Mermaid’ actress was done.
In the time since, he’s denied the inference and even called Halle’s fans ‘gullible’ for believing the rumors.
But, just when it seemed the hoopla around the pair’s relationship was cooling, Rubi Rose – DDG’s ex – entered the chat.

As captured by our friends at TSR, Rose made headlines Saturday (February 11) when she called out DDG for allegedly passing along one of her old shirts to Halle.
After getting roasted by Bailey’s fans, Rubi made clear her diss was intended for her ex.
If that wasn’t enough to get people talking, Rose followed with a screenshot of an alleged text message exchange between herself and Granberry – further fueling rumors he had been unfaithful to Halle.
Once the hoopla reached the desk of ‘The Little Mermaid’ actress, she took to Twitter Sunday (February 12) to respond.
Her call did little to satiate concerned fans, some of whom have begun promoting a petition to “get Halle Bailey a new man.”
At writing, the appeal has collected nearly 2,000 signatures.
