GloRilla‘s breakout hit, ‘F.N.F. (Let’s Go),’ proves itself to be the hit that keeps on giving.
Released in April 2022, the song first gained traction on social media – becoming a viral sensation for its female empowering lyrics and bass-buoyed production.
Going on to become her first Hot 100 entry, the tune eventually peaked at #42 on the tally and ended the year on the ‘Best Songs of 2022’ lists of multiple major publications including ‘TIME’ magazine, Los Angeles Times, and more.
Now, it’s earned the rising rapstress the second Gold plaque of her career from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Details inside.
On Wednesday (February 8), the RIAA took to press to announce the HitKidd-produced anthem had reached its threshold for Gold certification – meaning it’s sold the equivalence of 500,000 copies in the United States.
The award came just three months after the Cardi B-assisted ‘Tomorrow 2‘ became the first Gold-certified hit of Glo’s career, a feat that made it 2022’s fastest-certified female Rap hit (as we reported here).
