Today marks five years since the hit-machine LP was released and changed the course of the contemporary female Rap landscape.
Home to Diamond-certified smashes ‘Bodak Yellow’ and ‘I Like It,’ the project (which arrived on April 6, 2018) earned the esteemed honor of seeing each of its tracks certified Platinum or higher.
Suffice it to say, there’s much to celebrate.
Speaking on the set, which won the GRAMMY for Best Rap Album, Cardi B took to Instagram to say:
“Yeah! I’m still getting booked for millions of dollars with one motherf*cking album. Yeah, wassup, ain’t nobody can tell me nothing,”
The remark was followed by her trademark cackle.
