Doja Cat is putting a pause on Pop.

Indeed, despite nabbing her biggest career successes to date with bops such as ‘Say So’ and ‘Kiss Me More’ (the latter of which nabbed a GRAMMY), the performer has revealed that her next project will be anchored in Rap.

Taking to Twitter, unprompted, the multi-talented star declared:

“No more Pop”

She continued:

“Pop isn’t exciting to me anymore. I don’t wanna make it.”

Expanding, she added:

“I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are. I wasnt trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing yall say that i can’t so I will.”
