Frank Ocean‘s Coachella comeback made headlines but not for the reasons most had hoped.
A litany of issues – both behind the scenes and in front of it – appeared to plague the set.
However, now more is emerging about the performance that provides context to the polarizing appearance.

A source close to the situation revealed that the singer suffered an ankle injury during on-site rehearsals on the Coachella grounds within the week leading up to the showing.
As a result, the production – which was planned to be all sorts of elaboration – was reworked on the advice of the 35-year-old’s doctors.
Still, an attempt was made to deliver a show to remember. Dancers, rocking custom Prada, joined the performer o stage during the set which spanned 20 songs and concluded with a performance of ‘At Your Best.’
Many have been open about their views on the spectacle, including Justin Bieber.
The Pop force endorsed the showing saying:
“I was blown away by Frank Oceans Coachella performance. His artistry is simply unmatched, his style, his taste, his voice, his attention to detail.. I was deeply moved. It made me want to keep going and get better as an artist. He continues to set the bar high and gave me a night I will never forget! Thanks Frank.”

This “ankle injury” sounds like a PR lie designed to explain away his horrible attitude and horrible performance. And to try to make it seem real, they asked Justin Bieber to add his two lying cents.
Ankle injury’s is no excuse for the stunts he pulled. Changing the whole production 30 mins before his set, sounding awful, doing the bare minimum, canceling the live stream last minute…again what does his ankle have to do with that?? If anything the ice skating rink would distract from his alleged injury. He’s full of s***. He prolly thought pulling these stunts would make him look cool and anti🙄

His mic was DEFINITELY on and he sound amazing and gave a great show. He doesn’t owe anyone an apology. Bjork was performing before him and the moment her set ended his crew started setting up, his stage took a while to put together, and that’s not his fault. He began the show the moment they finished setting up. So all you broke btches who couldn’t afford to go, stop trying to convince yourself it wasn’t worth it because it was 🤣🤣🤣 UR LOSS

He was simply the wrong choice to headline. His catalog isn’t that expansive and he doesn’t have any recent material.
That was NOT a performance, that was a cry for help.
What Justin is really saying is he enjoyed seeing Frank humiliate himself because Justin isn’t doing stuff like this at his shows.
