It’s been days since Nick Cannon dropped by ‘The Howard Stern Show,’ but the rapper-comedian-entertainment mogul still has jaws dropped over some of the many noteworthy and quote-worthy moments from the chat.
Hot on the promo trail in support of his ‘Daily Cannon’ morning show on Amazon’s live radio app Amp, the 42-year-old dished on that venture as well as his personal life – a conversation that took the father of 12 down a path of discussing if more children are in his future.
Look inside to hear his thoughts on that matter and find out how newly-single Pop diva Taylor Swift found her name in the mix of it.
Among the many topics covered in Cannon’s extensive chat with Stern on the latter’s SiriusXM show Monday (April 10), a standout was undoubtedly his dating life.
“I’m not out there like that,” Nick shared. “I’m really trying to focus on myself and my children… my bandwidth doesn’t even allow me to kind of be in that space.”
Echoing his previous statements about not wanting to marry again, the ‘Wild N’ Out’ star made it clear that although dating is off the table at the moment that doesn’t necessarily mean more children are as well.
When asked if he was “done” having children, Cannon relayed, “I don’t know. Every time I answer this question, I can never answer it correctly because I don’t know.”
“I’m happy currently with the [children] that I got,” he continued, noting that any future moms would “have to be amazing.”
Apparently Taylor Swift, who just ended a six-year relationship with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, is among the amazing contenders to birth baby no. 13. After Stern suggested Nick get Taylor to be his next baby mama, the rapper-entertainment mogul didn’t disagree.
“Absolutely! I’m in, let’s go!” Cannon replied. “I’m all in.”
Going on to praise the Pop diva’s songwriting skills, Nick later inferred the two would be evenly matched given their respective dating histories.
“Me and Taylor’s numbers are very similar when we’re talking about being in these streets,” he said comically. “I think she would relate to me very well based off of like, ‘Yo, you’ve dated a lot of people in the public eye, so have I. We would probably really understand each other.”
While Tay didn’t respond to Stern’s suggestion and Cannon’s comments, her fans – affectionately called #Swifties – didn’t hesitate to take to Twitter to let their disdain be known, sending the hashtag #StayAwayFromHer soaring on the social media platform.
Nick low key called Taylor Swift a HO because he’s definitely one.
Naw, Tailor is lesbo already. She isnt suitable
Taylor’s favorite number is 13, so this actually would be even more of a reason 😂
