Fantasia ended 2022 by announcing she was working on not one, but TWO new albums – the follow-ups to 2019’s critically acclaimed ‘Sketchbook.’ 

But, before her dedicated fans could even get a whiff of what she was cooking up for the forthcoming projects she’s already sent them into a frenzy with the report she’ll be bringing the new songs alongside her brigade of R&B hits to a stage near them.

Taking to social media recently (as seen above), Fannie dropped the surprise news of her touring plans.

“Hey Fam – I’m coming to a city near you and can’t wait to vibe & have a good time with y’all,” the GRAMMY winner shared on an Instagram post.

Bringing 7x GRAMMY-nominated R&B veteran Joe along for the ride on select dates, the jaunt is set to kick off May 12 in Bridgeport, Connecticut ahead of touching down in major U.S. markets like Los Angeles, New Orleans, Tampa, Chicago, and more. The outing is slated to wrap in Jacksonville on November 4 – just weeks before the Christmas premiere of ‘The Color Purple Musical’ (the diva’s first leading role in feature film).
