Unconfirmed news of Jamie Foxx‘s health condition have dominated headlines over the last few weeks with some reports even suggesting he was nearing the ultimate demise.

As fans of the 55-year-old prepared for the worst, his daughter Corinne Foxx took to press to confirm he was not only on the mend but also readying an exciting return to the limelight.

After much speculation, the details of that forthcoming project have been revealed not long after new reports surfaced about Jamie’s well-being.

Monday (May 15), TMZ published photos of Foxx’s daughters Corinne and Anelise visiting a physical rehabilitation facility in Chicago where it is believed he is stable and undergoing recovery from the unspecified “medical complication.”

Family members closest to the star have withheld details about said complication, but because the facility specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, and spinal cord injury rehab it further fuels the rumor the actor-singer suffered from an event related to stroke.

At writing, he has yet to speak publicly about the reported health failure and consequent hospitalization stint.

“We are thrilled to be developing ‘We Are Family’ with Jeff Apploff and our friends at Fox Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of ‘Beat Shazam,’” said the Foxx family in a joint statement. “We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we’ve had creating it when it premieres next year.”
