Until Coi Leray gets an answer from her fellow chart-topping female rappers about remaking Lil Kim‘s ‘Ladies Night’ to score 2023’s first Hip-Hop Hot 100 #1 hit, it looks like she’s moving ahead by her lonesome on the journey.
Just days ahead of the delivery of her self-titled sophomore album (due on digital shelves June 23), Leray has lifted the lid on yet another of the LP’s gems – ‘Run It Up.’
“Run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up, ooh / I’m an angel in the day and a demon in the night / Don’t go thinking ’bout it cause you might lose your mind / Drop the top in the winter cause my heart cold as ice,” she croons on the new track.
