Kelly Clarkson is looking to turn her heartache into hits thanks to the new LP, ‘Chemistry.’
Branded her “divorce album” following that highly publicized, 2022 split from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, the 14-track opus – her first traditional studio effort since 2017’s ‘Meaning of Life’ – bolts to digital shelves on the wings of its leading singles ‘Me,’ ‘Mine,’ ‘Red Flag Collector,’ ‘Favorite Kind of High,’ and ‘I Hate Love.’
Boasting guest appearances or contributions from actor Steve Martin and music legend Sheila E. as well as famed singer/songwriters and producers Jesse Shatkin, Jason Halbert, Erick Serna, and Jane Black, ‘Chemistry’ comes just a month before the EMMY and GRAMMY winner launches her Las Vegas residency of the same name.
Before she storms Sin City, hop inside to stream ‘Chemistry’ courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.
The album is pretty good what I like is that delivers consistent albums. I think alotta ppl can relate to these songs this is a mature grown album if you’re looking for microwave bops. This album isn’t for you.
I agree. The rollout has been hella messy though. I’ve a feeling this was less about commerciality, and more about therapy re: her feelings about the divorce, and launching the Vegas residency.
Kelly’s discography is underrated. Catalogue full of gems💎
This is a lot more exciting than what I was expecting.
Down to you is a bop
This is her worst album besides the meaning of life and my December… I can’t… and she promised this album is breakaway and stronger 2.0. Disappointing!
